Terms & Conditions

By booking an appointment with Hephcibah Hair Braiding, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms are designed to protect both the client and the stylist, ensure quality service, and prevent misunderstandings.
- Appointments & Booking
- All services are by appointment only.
- Appointments are confirmed only after the required deposit is received.
- Same-day appointments are subject to availability and may require full prepayment.
- Deposits & Payments
- A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment.
- Deposits go towards the total service cost.
- The remaining balance is due at the time of service.
- Accepted payment methods include cash, and Zelle.
- Failure to pay the remaining balance will result in services not being completed.
Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances, including late arrivals, no-shows, failure to follow hair-prep requirements, or change of mind.
- Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
- Appointments must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.
- No-shows will be charged 100% of the service price and may be restricted from future bookings.
- Repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in the refusal of future services.
- Notice Required: You must provide at least 48 hours’ notice to reschedule your appointment. You are permitted one (1) reschedule per deposit, provided it is within 30 days of the original date.
- Late Arrival Policy
- Clients are given a 10-minute grace period.
- Arrivals 10–15 minutes late may be accommodated at the stylist’s discretion.
- Arrivals over 15 minutes late may result in:
- Appointment cancellation
- Shortened service
- Additional late fee
- Deposits are not refunded for late cancellations due to tardiness.
- Hair Preparation Requirements
To ensure quality results and timely service:
- Hair may be clean, blow-dried, and fully detangled unless otherwise stated.
- No oils, heavy products, or residue in the hair.
- Failure to arrive with properly prepared hair may result in:
- Additional fees
- Shortened service
- Appointment cancellation without refund
- If hair preparation services are requested, they must be booked in advance.
- Hair & Style Responsibility
- Clients are responsible for selecting their desired style and length.
- Reference photos are encouraged, but results may vary based on:
- Hair texture
- Hair density
- Hair condition
- Once the service has begun, no major style changes will be accepted.
- No refunds are issued once the service is completed.
- Children & Guests
- No Extra Guests: Due to space limitations and safety regulations, no extra guests, including children, are allowed unless they are also receiving a service.
- No pets are allowed.
- Satisfaction Guarantee: Please inspect your hair before leaving the salon. If you are unsatisfied, we will correct it immediately. No refunds will be issued once you leave the premises.
- Children must be able to sit calmly for the duration of the service.
- Hephcibah Hair Braiding is not responsible for supervising children.
- Health & Safety
- Right to Refuse Service: We reserve the right to refuse service for any condition that may endanger health, including active scalp infections, lice, or open sores, as per Georgia Sanitary Regulations.
- Please inform the stylist of any scalp conditions, allergies, or sensitivities before your appointment.
- The stylist reserves the right to stop a service if a client experiences pain or discomfort beyond normal braiding tension.
- Right to Refuse Service
Hephcibah Hair Braiding reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service for:
- Disrespectful or inappropriate behavior
- Failure to comply with policies
- Unsafe or unsanitary conditions
- Excessive tardiness or repeated policy violations
- Liability Disclaimer
- Hephcibah Hair Braiding is not responsible for:
- Hair damage due to prior chemical treatments or improper aftercare
- Allergic reactions to products used
- Tension & Maintenance: We strive for “tension-free” braiding. If a braid feels too tight during the service, please speak up immediately. We are not responsible for hair loss or breakage due to keeping braids in longer than the recommended 6–8 weeks.
- Clients accept all risks associated with hair braiding services.
- General
- Personal Belongings:Hephcibah Hair Braiding is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.
- Photography:We may take before/after photos for our portfolio and marketing. Please inform us in writing if you do not consent.
- Changes to Terms:These Terms and Conditions may be updated at any time. The current version will always be posted at hephcibah.com/terms.
- These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Any legal disputes shall be handled in the courts of Gwinnett County.
- Agreement
By booking an appointment, you confirm that:
- You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions in full.
- You accept these Terms & Conditions as a binding service agreement
- You release Hephcibah Hair Braiding from liability beyond the scope of professional care
